Our client, a global provider of investment, financial services and software for the financial services and healthcare industries, is looking for a highly motivated Integration Engineer that provides clients with a comprehensive range of skills to support the implementation of end-to-end financial risk solutions primarily in support of management and regulatory requirements. This role will involve the provision of support and consultancy to ensure our clients receive the best possible advice, guidance, and quality of service.
Your responsibilities :
1. Provide consultancy and product support internally and to clients based on solid understanding of the our product suite and implementation requirements
2. Define and scope configuration, interfacing and enhancement work with project managers senior engineers and financial engineers
3. Undertake setup and configuration of our and the third party products (database, middleware, reporting solutions) troubleshooting, testing (functional and volume) for original installation and system upgrades
4. Install products and customized components on client sites, or remotely, assist with acceptance tests and provide first line support following implementation
5. Develop customized solutions and modules in a range of development tools, typically, Python, Perl and shell scripting
6. Design and implement interfaces between client’s data and our products
7. Where appropriate deliver training via formal training courses and workshop sessions internally and to clients
8. Deliver product overviews and lead discussions in client pre-sales, develop pilot and proof of concept solutions
9. Participate in the delivery and implementation of solutions for clients
10. Work with various stakeholders including product owners, development teams and testers to deliver robust solutions
11. To help troubleshoot errors, performance issues, and license problems encountered by customers during implementation
Requirements
12. Bachelors or Master’s Degree (preferably numerate/technical) or equivalent
13. 3-5+ years of working experience
14. Experience in software or database systems development and/or support with experience of project life cycles and complex product installation, customization and commissioning
15. Good hands-on use of Linux
16. Strong scripting experience with shell
17. Strong programming experience with at least one language (Python, Perl, Java or similar)
18. Familiarity with database essentials (SQL, installation, sizing, performance). Experienced DBA skills not essential, but familiarity with using one current RDBMS is preferred.
19. Ability to address and use initiative to deliver solutions to technical and business problems
20. Ability and desire to adapt, learn and explore new technologies
21. Fluent written and spoken English/Spanish

Requirements
Your Experience: Knowledge of Financial Products and associated pricing methods. Knowledge of Risk Management techniques including sensitivities, Stress Testing, Value-at-Risk, Expected Shortfall & Optimization Knowledge of Statistics and generation of time-series based measures i.e. Volatility Ability to work with functional and technical team on the delivery of implementation activities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Office tools knowledge (spreadsheets for financial validation work, word processing for documentation, etc). Programming skills for supporting data modelling (Shell Scripting, Visual Basic, Python) is advantageous. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Knowledge of credit risk models such as Merton. Knowledge of Economic and Regulatory Capital methodologies: FRTB, SA-CCR, CCR IMM Knowledge of Stress Testing and Back-testing methodologies. Experience in areas of Market Risk, Credit Risk or Liquidity Risk. ALM and Liquidity Risk calculation and modelling. Fluent written and spoken English/Italian Other languages (preferably European) (advantageous) Project work is largely client or office based, and the ideal candidate must be able to manage periods in client sites predominantly in mainland Europe and potentially support other global offices. Degree or equivalent level in relevant subjects (Finance, Math, Economics, Business, mathematical engineering, etc.) Masters/PhD in quantitative subject, preferred but not essential. CFA, PRM or FRM designation(s) beneficial.
