IFF is seeking a passionate Instrumentation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Benicarlo! The plant and this position is based in Benicarlo.
In this role you will identify and develop control mechanisms to improve the reliability and efficiency of plant operations & monitor environmental regulations. You will manage the Industrial Manufacturing Control System Safety Interlocks implementation activities and to be responsible of the periodic verifications and updates, according to corporate guidelines and safety standards. You'll support the Instrumentation and Control System Hardware implementation activities related to any engineering project implementation.
Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities :
* Lead Control System Safety Interlocks implementation and maintenance.
* Lead Control System Safety Interlocks definition, installation, and configuration.
* Support instruments definition, installation, and maintenance.
* Support the instrumentation and Control System Hardware implementation activities.
* Support engineering projects execution where his / her role is involved.
* Ensure and review safety measures of all the activities performed by internal and external suppliers involved in an engineering project implementation.
* Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with the stakeholders.
* To be responsible of the housekeeping operations during an instrumentation or control system hardware activity.
* Propose and implement technical or management improvements to solve the problems during implementations, to increase the performance of the installation or to reduce the budget costs.
* Identify Instrumentation opportunities and propose improvements.
Key Requirements
* Telecom / Industrial / Electric / Electronic Engineering degree
* Knowledge in SIL instrumentation requirements
* Ideally ca.5 years demonstrated field experience.
* Siemens PCS7 knowledge is desirable.
* Knowledge in chemical manufacturing is desirable.
* Knowledge on ISO managements systems : 9000, 14000 y 18000
* Knowledge in CMMS / ERP (SAP-MM)
* Knowledge in AutoCAD applications
* Fluent in English (Oral and written) and Spanish.
