Role: Cooling Commissioning Engineer (Data Centre Cooling)
Length: 12 months - this will be extended
Location: Travelling to projects across Europe
We’re looking for an experienced Cooling Commissioning Engineer to join a growing team delivering critical infrastructure projects across the data centre sector.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading startup and commissioning activities across a range of cooling systems
- Assessing installation quality and system performance
- Troubleshooting complex issues and conducting root cause analysis
- Supporting critical projects with on-site technical expertise
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance
- Training customers on equipment operation
Systems you’ll work with:
- Air‑ and water‑cooled chillers
- CRAC / CRAH units
- Fan wall systems
- Liquid cooling technologies
What we’re looking for:
- Strong HVAC and cooling systems knowledge
- Experience in commissioning or field service (5+ years)
- Ability to work independently on complex sites
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Comfortable interpreting technical documentation
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar)
- Experience with precision cooling or mission‑critical environments is a plus
- Significant international travel required (~70%)
