We’re expanding our team at Alén Space and are looking for a Production Manager with passion in what you do, talented and experienced, to coordinate the management and planning of CubeSat subsystem production while leading a team of production technicians. You will be involved in project planning, quality management, risk identification, and cross-functional coordination with different departments to ensure the successful execution and delivery of products.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate production activities.
- Support project planning and contribute to proposal preparation by providing expert knowledge of the technologies within the area.
- Collaborate closely with other Team Managers and Project Managers in the development of projects and products.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks and opportunities.
- Participate in the Quality Assurance System, reporting and managing non-conformities within the area together with the Quality System Manager.
- Review and approve product documentation prior to customer release.
- Lead, manage, and develop the production team.
Qualifications
- Degree in a technical discipline such as Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in production processes related to electronics manufacturing.
- Previous experience in project management and team leadership.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Valuable knowledge
- ECSS (European Cooperation for Space Standardization) standards.
- ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- IPC standards for electronic product manufacturing.
- Mechanical parts manufacturing processes.
- Previous experience working with the Odoo ERP system.
