Our international integration team acts as the digital backbone of the Hero Group. The Hero Integration layer is a mission‑critical component connecting various applications across our vast ERP landscape. We are looking for an Integration Expert to support and evolve our capabilities. In this role, you will play a vital part in Hero's daily ability to operate, ensuring that data flows seamlessly and securely across our entire enterprise.
What you'll achieve
- Architect the Future: You will build and shape our integration architecture, developing robust interfaces using Hero's primary integration platform, Lobster Data.
- Bridge Business and Tech: You will translate complex business requirements into sustainable, scalable, and easy‑to‑maintain technical solutions and concepts.
- Ensure Mission‑Critical Reliability: You will maintain our integration platform within a High Availability environment, proactively executing version upgrades and managing maintenance windows to ensure zero disruption.
- Master the Ecosystem: You will create and maintain seamless interfaces between various applications, leveraging your deep technical knowledge of API technologies (SOAP, REST), JSON, and modern database architectures.
- Drive Quality Assurance: You will execute robust test approaches and strategies within a complex environment to ensure flawless integration performance before going live.
- Empower the Organization: You will create comprehensive training materials and actively transfer your technical knowledge to key users and application experts across the business.
Who you are
The Essentials (Must Have):
- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent practical experience.
- A proven track record in creating and maintaining interfaces between various applications.
- In-depth understanding of SAP integration capabilities (iDocs, RFC, oData, CPI, table view) and modern database architectures (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).
- Proficient knowledge of integration and communication standards (EDIFACT, HTTP AS2 protocols, SOAP / REST API) and strong development skills (JSON / XML).
- Proven experience maintaining an integration platform in a High Availability environment.
- Professional fluency in English to communicate effectively across international teams.
- Excellent analytical skills, a highly self‑motivated approach, and a strong \"can‑do\" mentality.
The Plus (Nice to Have):
- Previous hands‑on experience specifically with the Lobster Data integration platform is highly valued.
- Familiarity with the FMCG (Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods) or food manufacturing industry landscape.
