We are currently seeking an IT Sales Manager with expertise in Automotive & Manufacturing to join our DXC Automotive & Manufacturing Industry Sales Team for Consulting & Engineering Services (CES).

Responsibilities

* Proactively identify new business opportunities within existing and new client areas.
* Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new business and meet revenue targets.
* Generate sales leads and successfully close deals.
* Create solution concepts and proposals, including competitive pricing within the CES portfolio.
* Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and educate customers about DXC solutions, products, and market differentiators.
* Negotiate creatively and successfully to convert opportunities into contracts or purchase orders.
* Build and sustain strong client relationships to foster sales growth.
* Analyze market data to identify potential opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and synergy.
* Introduce process improvements and innovative technologies into the sales process.
* Participate in negotiations and contribute to closing deals.

Mandatory Skills

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
* At least 5 years of relevant industry experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar sales role.
* Good understanding of the Automotive and Manufacturing sectors and ecosystems.
* Knowledge of modern Automotive and Manufacturing technologies in consulting, enterprise and custom applications, data & AI, software development, smart manufacturing, and software-defined vehicles.
* Proven track record in sales and sales enablement.
* Established and trusted client relationships are a plus.
* Strong skills in sales strategy, customer relationship management, and market analysis.
* A continuous learner staying updated with industry trends and technologies.

Nice-to-Have Skills
