Tolsa is seeking a curious, technically skilled, and forward-thinking Project Leader to join our Disruptive Innovation team. This role is key to identifying, designing, and developing new product opportunities with long‐term impact, working closely with internal teams and external partners.If you're passionate about turning bold ideas into functional prototypes and building new business lines from the ground up, this could be your next challenge.Create new products based on hybrid (organic–inorganic) materials technology.Search for, evaluate, and launch new ideas to develop products, technologies, and business opportunities.Carry out laboratory work, including synthesis, characterization, and testing of hybrid materials.Identify and request materials, reagents, and equipment needed for project execution.R&D Project Management Define, plan, track, and manage R&D projects from concept to prototype (scope, budget, and timelines).Develop and implement project plans, reporting regularly on progress to upper management.Ensure on‐time, on‐scope, and on‐budget delivery of all projects.Adapt project strategies when needed, identifying risks and proposing solutions.Prepare reports, technical documentation, and analysis bulletins.Manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.Cross‐Functional & External Collaboration Lead technical collaboration with internal teams (Business Development, Quality, Marketing, Purchasing, Operations, Finance).Work with Operations to troubleshoot formulation or processing issues during pilot plant trials.Coordinate lab, pilot plant, and plant test runs for new product start‐ups.Participate in the identification of contract manufacturers for specific project needs.Provide technical support to other departments as required.Coordinate plant trials and support new product industrial start‐ups.Maintain accurate records: formulations, technical specifications, project data.Support definition and review of specifications for raw materials, blends, and finished products.Reporting, Compliance & Funding Prepare project progress reports for stakeholders.Develop documentation for new technologies and development activities.Support technical justification for financed projects and R&D tax deductions.Participate in processes related to public grants and public funding.Organize in‐house sensory evaluations when required.Education & Technical Background Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields .A Master's or PhD in materials science, cosmetics, or related disciplines is a strong plus.Professional Experience Proven experience in research and development of hybrid materials, ideally for:cosmetics,selective adsorption,or related applications.Strong hands‐on laboratory experience in:synthesis and characterization of nanostructured materials,hybrid organic–inorganic systems,porous or synthetic materials.Previous experience in R&D or R&T within an industrial or innovation‐driven company is highly desirable.Languages Additional languages are a plus.The opportunity to shape breakthrough technologies with real business impact.A role at the center of Tolsa's strategic innovation pipeline.A multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.Professional growth in an international context.
