Here is an exciting opportunity for a revenue leader to join the commercial team in the Wyndham Costa del Sol, supporting three resorts (Wyndham Grand Costa del Sol, Ramada Hotel & Suites Costa del Sol and the Royal Marbella Golf Resort) as part of the IDILIQ Group.

THE ROLE The Cluster Revenue Manager, reporting directly to the Head of Commercial, will lead the development and implementation of revenue management strategies for the three Costa del Sol Resorts in line with the Company mission, vision & values. A key objective of this position is to support and challenge the head of rentals & resort GMs decisions on RevPAR, ADR and utilisation of space.
Develop and implement revenue and sales strategies to maximise the resorts rental room sales to support the achievement of the overall resort's budgets and KPIs
Monitor the status and adjust strategy as appropriate to maximise overall yield, occupancy, ADR and RevPAR
Develop the annual rooms revenue budget in conjunction with your line manager and the resorts general managers.
Participate in the development of the annual revenue, sales, and marketing calendar plan for the three resorts, working closely with the group sales and marketing teams to maximise direct sales
Continually improve rental sales through maximising distribution channel opportunity and sales mix via the most cost-effective channels for the company.
Differentiate sales channels by product to maximise overall yield
Daily update of systems to ensure room sales performance is optimized and visible to the resort executive.
Achieves market & revenue share by developing strategies to ensure the resorts are number 1 at everything they do v their comp set.
Evaluate data statistics to determine profitability of sold business and opportunities within the market.
Maximizes revenue with the revenue optimization tools and systems available to you to market the resorts appropriately and ensure current rate structures and packages are reflected properly both externally and internally.
Create and implement sales & marketing strategies support by the central sales and marketing functions to increase awareness in the local & international markets to drive occupancy rates.
Develop and implement public relations campaigns to include agent fam visits and press trips to ensure the resorts are at the forefront of consumer and supplier thinking.
The cluster revenue manager will also be responsible for all aspects of internal revenue processing and reporting.
Maintain and champion existing revenue management reporting, continuously improving the insight capabilities. Ensuring that all team members use consistent reports to maximise revenue performance.
Analyse booking patterns and trends by resort to steer revenue management decisions to increase sales alongside the Head of Rentals and General Managers.
Evaluate pricing decision by resort, by market segment for future arrival dates. Set out findings to the head of revenue and resort general managers to increase sales, RevPAR, and ADR.
Perform sales channel analysis, to gain insight and suggest ways to improve performance to maximise average daily rate and profit. This includes direct and online channels including GDS, online travel agents, B2B.
Understand product margin contribution and advise head of rentals and general managers on best practice and have a strong handle on P&L performance.
Support to maintain pricing models across the three resorts. Monitor and evaluate competitor pricing positions and competitive environment.
Review unsold space vs previous year and evaluate potential revenue gain opportunities using revenue management systems to deliver suitable actions to sell the space.

Minimum five years' revenue management experience within hotel industry
Minimum two years at an upscale brand in past five years in revenue, sales, or marketing management
Proficiency in Opera Cloud, IDeas and STR.
Proficiency in Lighthouse, SiteMinder, Sabre (SynXis) and CVENT is an advantage.
Experience managing multi brand standards
Experience of managing owner relationship
Flexibility to travel
Knowledge of hotel operations including preparation of business plans, budget forecasting, quality assurance program, and long-range planning
