Your role
You will act as an internal SAP FI / CO consultant, participating in both SAP implementation and maintenance (Enhancements, BAU requests, incident resolution), supporting existing SAP FI / CO installations worldwide.
* Serve as a SAP FICO Subject Matter Expert
* Analyze business needs and document requirements
* Propose and evaluate solution alternatives
* Customize SAP and conduct unit testing
* Identify problems and root causes
* Resolve incidents and problems
* Consult with customers
* Support SAP client / area
* Participate in SAP implementation and local/transformation projects
Your Skills and Experience
* Higher education in informatics and/or economics
* Fluent in Spanish and English; German is a plus
* At least 5 years’ experience in SAP international implementations with leading customizing roles
* Proven track record of SAP template rollouts and process harmonization
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Effective team player with good communication skills
* Experience in international, multicultural environments
* Ability to influence at different levels and hierarchies
Knowledge
* Senior experience in SAP FI / CO modules, especially Finance Accounting and Reporting
* Knowledge of NewGL; experience with Special Ledger is a plus
* Understanding of IFRS & other GAAPs
* Expertise in Financial Closing processes in multinational companies
* Knowledge of finance & accounting principles
* Familiarity with insurance and bank accounting
* Procurement to Pay processes
* Controlling: Internal Orders, CCA, PCA & PA
* Knowledge of ITIL processes (preferably ITIL Certified)
* Plus: ALE, LSMW, migrations, SLO conversions, SAP upgrades, Winshuttle
* ABAP debugging skills are advantageous
