Job Title: Software Engineer II

The Regional Customer Center Spain, based in Barcelona, focuses on South Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, etc.) and Latin American countries (Brazil, Chile, Perú, Colombia, Argentina, Panama, Uruguay).
Responsibilities:
* Participate actively in project definition phases.
* Create project configurations for software components.
* Design detailed applications and implement them through software development and interface development for related systems.
* Verify software components, create unit tests, and review test documentation.
* Deploy, verify, and support components in factory and site environments, including commissioning systems at customer sites.
* Maintain related documentation and project deliverables.
* Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve internal and external problems and requested changes.
* Provide support within the project team and to external stakeholders, including Level 3 support.
* Collaborate closely with Controls Engineers, Project Managers, and other Engineers across multiple projects.
* Report directly to the IT Software Team Leader.
Your Profile:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Systems or Software Engineering, preferably with B2 level English and Spanish skills.
* Experience in real-time systems and software development with C# and SQL Server (minimum 2 years).
* Basic knowledge of SQL language, TCP/IP interfaces, Angular (advanced), .NET framework, Jira, and Bitbucket.
* Proven track record of successful API implementation.
* Strong communication skills, creative in building client relationships, and capable of working in an international environment.
* Willingness to travel occasionally worldwide.
* Team-oriented, detail-focused, and committed to value delivery.
Highly Regarded (optional):
* Driving license.
* Knowledge of networking, IT infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker, big data analysis, and BI platforms.
* Experience in logistics, production sectors, or material handling.
* Agile mindset with experience in Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
