PWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented bSenior /b bInternational Privacy GDPR Manager /b to play a key role in our global privacy and data protection initiatives, with a strong focus on bGDPR, /b related privacy regulations, and will be instrumental in constructing, implementing, and maintaining a strong data protection program globally. This position is not eligible for employer-visa sponsorship* /b /ppbr/ppbKey Duties Responsibilities: /b /pulliSupport and contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s global privacy and GDPR framework. /liliProvide subject‑matter expertise and recommendations on privacy risk tradeoffs, remediation approaches, and escalation recommendations, in partnership with Legal, Compliance, IT, Security, and senior leadership. /liliAssist in identifying, assessing, and managing privacy-related enterprise risk, including advising leadership on material risks, emerging regulatory exposure, and mitigation strategies. /liliCollaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop, implement, and maintain the company’s integral privacy and data protection framework, ensuring compliance with GDPR, UK Data Protection Act, and other relevant international regulations. /liliCollaborate with internal stakeholders to conduct regular privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs). /liliProvide support to Data Incident Response activities, including support to applicable investigations, reporting, record-keeping, and/or remediation activities. /liliDevelop and maintain guidance, templates, and documentation for cross‑border data transfer mechanisms (including SCCs and other approved frameworks), in alignment with Legal strategy. /liliHandle Data Subject Access Requests, and other similar inquiries. /liliManage and update data protection registers, including the Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and the Data Breach register. /liliProvide guidance to internal teams on privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default principles. /liliLead internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews related to data protection. /liliMonitor regulatory developments and advise leadership on emerging privacy risks and opportunities. /liliProvide support to communications with Data Protection Authorities. /liliStandards, Policies Procedures: Drafting and updating internal policies and procedures to ensure appropriate strategies, infrastructure, and processes in light of the evolving legal and regulatory landscape. /liliCommunication, Education Tools: Develop and manage delivery of effective and engaging privacy training for employees at all levels, and develop effective communication structure, program, materials and tools. /li /ulpbr/ppbMinimum Requirements: /b /pulliBachelor’s degree from accredited university required /lili7+ years of experience in GDPR preferably in a leadership role or a role with significant privacy responsibilities in a global company (life sciences technology industry experience preferred) /liliFluency in English /li /ulpbr/ppbQualifications/Other Attributes: /b /pulliGraduate degree and/or professional accreditation preferred (e.g., Certified Information Privacy Professional Europe (CIPP/E), BCS/ISEB Certificate in Data Protection or equivalent qualification (CIPP/E), BCS/ISEB) /lili10+ years of experience preferred in a privacy leadership role or a role with significant privacy responsibilities in a global company (life sciences technology industry experience preferred) /liliFluency in French, German or Spanish. /liliAbility to travel internationally and up to 25%. /liliExperience with anti-corruption and anti-bribery regulations /liliStrong knowledge of and experience in healthcare compliance. /liliHighest standards of personal and professional integrity and character, maintains confidentiality. /liliAbility to identify risks and identify changes in the global risk environment facing the company. /liliHighly motivated and confident to work independently, but with support from more experienced subject matter experts where required /liliAbility to navigate ambiguities, prioritize and manage numerous simultaneous projects under deadline pressure. /liliStrong project and resource management skills. /liliStrong oral and written communication and presentation skills. /liliStrong interpersonal and leadership skills with proven ability to achieve outcomes by influencing people across functions and regions. /liliAn appreciation for, and sensitivity toward, a wide range of cultural differences. /liliAbility to resolve issues effectively, efficiently and diplomatically. /liliDesire to work as a team member with all levels of employees and management. /liliGenuine desire to work in an international setting with a high-level enthusiasm for the diversity of work. /li /ulpbr/ppbThis position is not eligible for employer-visa sponsorship. /b /ppbr/ppUK- Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is 84,500- 130,900 GBP. /ppbr/ppSpain -
