Job PurposeThe Crew Operations Manager will be the manager of the Crew Rostering and Crew Control teams, will have overall responsibility for the short and mid term planning of the flight and cabin crew, as well as the daily control of the legal and required coverage of the crew's needs to maintain a safe and efficient daily operation.Also will be in regular contact with flight and cabin crew members on rostering issues and coordination with other departments.Main Responsibilities - Tasks- Ensures the correct use of OM-A 7 and applicable FTL regulations.- Ensures the effective and legal coverage of the required number of crews.- Responsible for the Crew Rostering team.- Responsible for the Crew Control team.- Establishes and maintains the Airline Information Management System (AIMS) related to crew operations in real time.- Coordination of crew scheduling audits, conformity checks and EASA.- Maintains the AIMS training expiry dates and vacations for all crew personnel.- Establishes the correct procedures for resolving crewing incidents, making the right decisions to protect the operation from any potential disruption.- Hires, trains, and manages the appropriate number of qualified personnel for Crew Control.- Plans and manages work schedules for his/her unit and ensures that there are an adequate number of personnel on duty at Crew Control in relation to planned flight times and activity.- Is responsible for controlling and delegating the tasks of the team of the Crew Scheduling and Crew Control Departments.- Supervises and ensures that the tasks assigned to scheduling and crew control agents are satisfactory and comply with applicable regulations on flight and rest time limitations (FTL regulations and OM-A 7).- Guarantee the availability of an adequate number of flight and cabin crew members, qualified in the operation of the aircraft available and in the aerodromes and operating routes in accordance with the limitations and qualification of competence required in the OM-A 7.EducationUniversity Degree in a related field.Experience- 3+ years of management experience in crew planning, crew scheduling or a related environment is required.- Must have high-level knowledge in the use of AIMS crew scheduling module according to EASA FTL rules.- Work experience in training management systems, systems integration, and implementation.Competencies- Excellent problem-solving skills- Team player.
