A Day in the Life
Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) is where it all started in Medtronic. We are designing producing selling and servicing implants and technologies for cardiac rhythm disorders as well as heart failure. Examples are implantable monitors / loop recorders pacemakers cardiac defibrillators telecardiology equipment. Innovation is key in Medtronic and to optimally serve doctors and patients the product pipeline is in continuous evolution. CRM is offering a wide product portfolio to (cardiac) surgeons and interventional cardiologists for state-of-the-art treatment of cardiac diseases.
In this exciting opportunity as a Technical Consultant CRM you will provide expert technical support in the hospitals operating rooms as well as work with network of accounts in order to expand the utilization of device therapies diagnostics and monitoring for the Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure disease management. You will also collect market intelligence data follow and report competition activities.
For this remote position the working territory will be Asturias and you will be preferably located in Oviedo or Gijon.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical support to physicians in the operating room in the hospitals during Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator implants and Electrophysiology procedures
* Advise referring physicians on company products therapies and services to optimize patient outcomes
* Build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers
* Educate referring physicians on clinical evidence of defined therapies to demonstrate improved patient outcomes
* Report all account market and competitive information trends and metrics
* Collate and report all customer feedback product and legal issues and customer complaints from product-related events
* Carry out all administrative duties such as regularly providing activity reports to the Sales Manager
Required Knowledge and Experience
* University degree in Health sciences (biomedical engineering industrial engineer or telecommunications engineer nursing radiology or other relevant degree)
* At least 2 years of experience minimum in the medical device industry including a hospital operation room environment preferably with Cardiology devices
* Experience developing relationships and demonstrated influence with cardiologists and other internal medicine specialties (nurses technicians etc.)
* Fluent English and Spanish (both written and spoken)
* Clean driving license; Willingness to travel intensively
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
