At HAYS, a British multinational company that offers recruitment and human resources services in 33 countries worldwide and is listed on the London Stock Exchange. We are currently looking for 2 Cloud Data Engineers to collaborate remotely with some international clients with headquarters in Málaga and Barcelona, Spain.
Requirements:
* 4+ years in data engineering
* Experience with Azure
* Experience with Pyspark and Databricks in an Azure environment
* Python programming experience
* Strong verbal and written skills in English
Nice to have:
* Experience with Snowflake
* Azure/Databricks certified Engineer
* Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience for 4+ years
* Python and Java experience, including design, programming, unit-testing (Pytest, JUnit )
* Experience with Terraform
* Experience with GIT, Kafka or PubSub, Docker
* Experience with Apache Beam and Dataflow
* Knowledge of Clean code principles
Main tasks:
* Maintain and extend customer data platform based on GCP services (e.g., Dataflow, Cloud Functions)
* Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using GCP
* Work with Python and Terraform
* Use SQL technologies like Google BigQuery or Snowflake for analytics and reporting
* Design, program, perform unit-testing (Pytest ), quality assurance, and documentation
* Collaborate in an agile team with members in other countries, using English
* Develop and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Azure services, leveraging PySpark, Python, and Databricks
* Build and deploy CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
* Design and implement data models using tools like ER/Studio, ERwin, Oracle Data Modeling, Toad Data Modeling
