Join a Leading Player in the Real Estate Development Sector
We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of financial reporting and analysis for a prominent international real estate group operating across Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands.
In this pivotal role, you will:
* Prepare and present consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project progress.
* Perform detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and monitor group financial performance.
* Develop, manage, and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for real estate projects.
* Deliver and challenge country-level financial reports with precision and rigor.
* Manage consolidation processes for multiple legal entities, including reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
* Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and support external audits with comprehensive documentation.
* Drive process improvements through automation and technology to enhance efficiency and reliability.
* Collaborate closely with accounting, project management, technical, and development teams to meet financial objectives.
* Identify and mitigate financial risks related to real estate investments and projects.
What we expect from you:
* University degree with at least 5 years of experience in auditing and/or financial control, including initial consolidation exposure.
* Operational proficiency in French, Dutch, and English.
* Strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, methodical and rigorous, able to manage stress and deadlines effectively.
* Self-driven and autonomous, while valuing collaboration to achieve shared goals.
* Genuine interest in real estate development; prior experience in the sector is a plus.
