Inventory Control Specialist
Objective: To ensure efficient and accurate inventory control of raw materials, packaging, intermediates, and finished products, ensuring proper stock rotation and avoiding losses, overstocks, or stock-outs.
Main Responsibilities:
* Monitor and record raw material stock levels daily.
* Liaise with Purchasing and Planning to maintain appropriate raw material levels.
* Inform the Supply Planner of critical stock levels or overstocks.
* Manage storage and stock flows between warehouses.
* Identify opportunities for improvement in stock management and propose solutions.
* Configure inventory parameters in MRP to ensure proper operation.
* Assist in organizing warehouse space to optimize capacity and accessibility.
Job Requirements:
* Degree in Logistics, Administration, or related field (desirable).
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in inventory control, ideally in the food industry.
* Knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP, Excel, etc.).
* Knowledge of food storage and preservation standards.
* Fluent in English and Spanish.
* Attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
