We have been contracted to support a brand new Gaming Studio, who will be developing video games and offering support to their parent company based overseas.
This studio is just getting up and running and you would be joining them at their infancy. As the company grows, this would present phenomenal opportunities.
Onsite work will be required initially, but will move to hybrid and remote options once settled in.
- Responsibilities:- Designing new UI/UX assets and features for our games, creating sketches, mockups, wireframes, and 2D UI assets.-
- Develop and design UI/UX solutions that maintain and improve on current visual language.-
- Develop concepts and ideas for future releases.-
- Understand the game’s target audience and create player personas.-
- Experience with UX methodologies.-
- Work closely with artists and developers to establish a consistent visual identity and language.-
- Developing intuitive UX flows aligned with the game's overall design.-
- Iterate and evolve designs based on user feedback.- Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a UI/UX position in gaming
- A must-
- Proven experience in the gaming or interactive design field.-
- Proven experience with Adobe PS, AI and XD/Figma.-
- Familiar with Unity - A big plus!-
- Fluent English both verbal and written.-
- You’re a goal-oriented team player, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and milestones.-
- You're versatile and can adapt to a fast-paced working environment where speed and innovation are key-
- Expert understanding of hierarchy and layout design principles.-
- Awareness of current trends in user interface design.-
- Ability to conceptualize, pitch, and implement game concepts.
