What are your responsibilities?
* Project Management & Delivery – Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring financial accuracy in tenders, budgets, and client reports. Provide continuous contract support and conduct financial reviews with project managers.
* Financial Oversight & Reporting – Maintain financial integrity through regular project performance evaluations, tax compliance reviews, and reporting on contract work in progress and key performance indicators.
* Cash Flow & Billing – Ensure accurate cash flow forecasting and timely invoicing to optimize income receipt and financial stability.
* Audit & Compliance – Lead expenditure verification audits and support adherence to financial procedures, ensuring best practices within the business unit.
* Business Partner Support – Assist finance business partners in implementing financial systems, providing insights at internal contract meetings, and ensuring seamless finance operations.
* Process Improvement & Team Support – Drive efficiency in financial management, contribute to system enhancements, and support overall team functions with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
Who are we looking for?
* Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting, Finance or similar area
* Strong knowledge and experience in finance procedures and processes
* Experience with expenditure verification audits
* Proficient in Excel and other financial tools
* A team player with an independent and proactive mindset
* Excellent knowledge of French and/or Dutch with a professional knowledge of English
* Client-focused approach
* Continuous learning mindset
