Join our team at SO/ Sotogrande, a luxurious resort located in the beautiful coastal town of Sotogrande, Spain. We're looking for a versatile Waiter/Waitress Polyvalent to provide exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our high standards of service.
* Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
* Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
* Serve meals and drinks in a timely and professional manner
* Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
* Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions
* Souvenir shop clerk
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and quality
* Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for various events
* Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
* Provide information about menu items, daily specials, and resort amenities
* Assist in other areas of food and beverage service as needed
Qualifications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and positive attitude
* Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques
* Basic math skills for handling financial transactions
* Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems
* Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Food handling certification (if required by local regulations)
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
* Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays/plates
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
* Basic knowledge of wine and food pairings is a plus
* Multilingual skills, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly valued
