Fuerte Group Hotels invites a skilled and motivated BI Programmer Analyst to join our Technology team in Marbella, Spain. This is a pivotal role where you will transform raw data into actionable business intelligence, directly supporting the strategic decision-making and operational efficiency of our hotel group.
1. Position and Mission (ROLE DETAILS)

* Location: Marbella, Málaga, Spain.
* Mission: Design, develop, and maintain the Business Intelligence architecture and reporting solutions. You will ensure the management team has accurate, timely, and insightful data to guide performance and expansion.
2. Essential Job Functions (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
Your core responsibilities span data architecture, development, and delivery of insights:
2.1. Data Modeling & Development
* First, design and implement efficient data models within the BI environment.
* Develop, maintain, and optimize robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources (e.g., PMS, POS, Finance systems).
* Therefore, ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across all reporting platforms.
2.2. Reporting & Visualization
* Create high-impact, user-friendly reports and dashboards, primarily using Power BI or similar visualization tools.
* Develop complex queries and stored procedures using SQL to extract and manipulate data for analytical needs.
* Specifically, work closely with business stakeholders (Finance, Sales, Operations) to understand their reporting requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
2.3. 🤝 Analysis & Support
* Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support specific business initiatives, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
* Provide technical support and training to end-users on BI tools and reports.
* Furthermore, contribute to the continuous improvement of the data architecture and BI governance processes.
3. Candidate Profile (JOB REQUIREMENTS) 3.1. Qualifications & Experience
* Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field is preferred.
* Experience: Proven experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or Programmer Analyst, ideally within the Tourism or Hospitality sector.
3.2. Technical Skills (MANDATORY)
* BI Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization.
* Database: Expert knowledge of SQL (T-SQL/PL-SQL) for advanced querying, stored procedures, and data manipulation.
* ETL/Data Warehouse: Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory).
3.3. Language & Adaptability
* Language: Professional working proficiency in Spanish and English is highly desirable for effective communication within the business environment.
