Job Description: Sales Account Manager Spain
- Reporting to the Sales Director EMEA
- The resource can be based in any home office location in Spain (preferably Barcelona or Valencia)
- The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for creating long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The role involves overseeing a portfolio of Aerosol-assigned customers, developing new Valves and Accessories business from existing clients, and actively seeking new sales opportunities. The role also includes reporting sales results to senior executives in Spain and Portugal.
- The role applies our Aerosol strategy within the account through designing and executing account strategies and planning.
Main Responsibilities:
* Operating as the lead point of contact for all account-specific matters
* Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
* Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit
* Serving as the primary contact for all customer account management matters
* Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize profits
* Developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
* Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
* Communicating the progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
* Developing new business with existing clients and identifying areas for improvement to meet sales quotas
* Forecasting and tracking key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
* Preparing reports on account status
* Assisting with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Requirements and Skills:
* Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role, with focus on Valves and Accessories (Aerosol packaging solutions)
* Ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive and C-level
* Solid experience with CRM software
* Experience delivering client-focused solutions
* Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
* Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish (mother tongue) and English
* BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field
* No direct reports required
Required interfaces at regional level include Product Line Manager in Marketing, Director Cluster Spain, R&D, and Operations.
