Area Description
The Google Cloud Marketing team is responsible for raising awareness and providing a seamless customer journey from interest to advocacy. The Activation Team is the engine that powers this journey, transforming marketing strategy into live campaigns. This role sits at the intersection of general automation standards and regional execution, specifically supporting the EMEA markets.
Role Description
We are looking for a Regional Activation PM who fluent (Spanish or French) and is part technical automation expert and part high-touch project manager. You will oversee the end-to-end production workflow for marketing campaigns, including email deployment and landing page creation using proprietary Google tools (Marketing Studio, Marketo, Salesforce).
You must be comfortable "translating" technical requirements for Marketing Managers (PMMs) and ensuring that regional nuances are executed flawlessly within global frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Lead: Lead a "POD" (data analysts, builders, and business stakeholders) to deliver a predictable cadence of marketing campaigns.
- End-to-End Production: Manage the full lifecycle of a campaign intake via Program Intake Forms (PIF) and Copy Docs, ensuring all assets (Landing Pages, Thank You Pages, Confirmation Emails) are built to spec.
- Marketing Automation Excellence: Utilize Marketo and Marketing Studio to build email nurtures, manage audience segmentation, and ensure proper lead routing to Salesforce (Vector).
- Regional Localization: Oversee the deployment of localized content for the French markets, ensuring character counts, hero images, and regional opt-in/GDPR language meet local standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary POC for Regional PMMs; guide them through system shifts (e.g., migrating from legacy Skyway links to on-domain URLs) and unblock technical issues.
- Performance Tracking: Audit production metrics and campaign naming conventions (Tactic IDs) to ensure clean data for regional reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in Enterprise B2B marketing automation or production project management.
- Technical Stack: Expert-level knowledge of Marketo (Email deployment/Nurture shells) and Salesforce/CRM systems.
- Project Management: Proven track record of managing high-volume campaign workflows with strict SLAs.
- Communication: Exceptional English and French communication skills, with the ability to explain technical "system rejections" to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Systems Knowledge: Experience with Google-specific marketing tools (Marketing Studio, Audience Builder, Orion).
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot URL parameters (UTMs), email footer snippets, and form conditional logic.
- Adaptability: Experience working in a fast-paced agency or managed service model (like Accenture) embedded within a global tech client.
