The SAP ARIBA Consultant is responsible for guiding organizations through the implementation, configuration and enhancement of SAP ARIBA solutions.
This role encompasses working with stakeholders to streamline procurement processes, manage supplier relationships and ensure that the ARIBA platform meets business requirements.
The consultant will lead or support projects from the initial design and planning phase through to go-live and post-launch support, including hypercare.
Key responsibilities:
· Project Implementation and Support:
o Lead or participate in SAP ARIBA rollout projects, including planning, design, configuration, testing and deployment.
o Support user acceptance testing (UAT), manage approval testing processes, and work closely with business units to ensure solutions are aligned with organizational needs.
o Provide hypercare and post-go-live support to resolve issues, optimize system performance and implement improvements.
o Solve technical/processual issues at 2º Level Support Socpe.
· Configuration and Customization:
o Configure key ARIBA modules such as Guided Buying, Spend Analysis and Sourcing.
o Implement and customize procurement workflows, including approval processes, user roles and supplier onboarding procedures.
o Ensure proper setup of supplier catalogs, conditions and integrations with other SAP systems or third-party platforms.
· Stakeholder Collaboration and Training:
o Engage with key business users, IT teams and external vendors to understand requirements and deliver tailored ARIBA solutions.
o Develop and deliver training materials and workshops (including video tutorials) for end-users and key stakeholders.
o Serve as a subject matter expert on procurement and supply chain best practices as they relate to SAP ARIBA.
· Documentation and Process Improvement:
o Prepare comprehensive documentation for system configurations, workflows and user training guidelines.
o Identify opportunities to enhance system functionality, streamline business processes and maximize the return on investment in SAP ARIBA.
o Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to propose continuous improvement initiatives.
· Integration and Data Management:
o Collaborate with IT and integration teams to facilitate seamless data exchange between SAP ARIBA and other enterprise systems (e.g. ERP, Order Management).
