A meaningful share of our revenue already comes from subscriptions, and we are looking to significantly scale this channel.
We are hiring a Subscription Growth Manager to own and optimize our Recharge subscription ecosystem, turning subscriptions into a core revenue engine.
This role is highly strategic and data-driven. The primary focus will be growing our subscriber base, reducing churn, and increasing subscriber lifetime value .
Email marketing execution is handled by an external agency â your role will define the retention strategy and coordinate lifecycle initiatives that support subscription growth and customer lifetime value.
You will report directly to the Ecommerce Manager and play a key role in shaping the future of our retention and recurring revenue strategy.

How youâll contribute
The Subscription Growth Manager will build and scale a high-performing subscription program that increases recurring revenue, reduces churn, and maximizes subscriber lifetime value across our Shopify subscription ecosystem powered by Recharge.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
Subscription Growth & Optimization
* Own and scale the companyâs subscription program, making it a key driver of recurring revenue.
* Optimize the Recharge-powered subscription experience, including subscription offers, skip/pause options, frequency management, and cancellation flows.
* Analyze and improve key subscription metrics such as conversion to subscription, subscriber churn, retention rate, and subscriber lifetime value (LTV) .
* Identify churn drivers and implement initiatives to reduce cancellations and increase subscriber retention .
* Develop and test initiatives to increase subscription adoption and long-term customer value .
* Define and recommend subscription offers, incentives, and pricing strategies that balance acquisition and long-term subscriber value.
* Analyze funnel performance, CAC, AOV, and LTV to optimize subscription growth and profitability .
* Evaluate the impact of promotions, bundles, and subscription incentives on conversion and retention .
Lifecycle Strategy & Email Coordination
* Own the retention and lifecycle strategy across the customer journey.
* Act as the main point of contact with the lifecycle/email marketing agency .
* Define priorities and roadmap for lifecycle flows and campaigns implemented in Klaviyo .
* Ensure lifecycle communications support subscription growth, churn reduction, and repeat purchase behavior .
Customer Insights & Retention Performance
* Analyze customer behavior, feedback, reviews, and surveys to identify retention opportunities and friction points .
* Design initiatives to increase repeat purchases, subscriber retention, and customer loyalty .
* Report on subscription and retention performance, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
* Stay up to date with best practices and trends in ecommerce subscriptions and customer retention .
What Youâll Need to Succeed
* 3+ years of experience in ecommerce growth, retention, or subscription-based businesses
* Hands-on experience managing subscription programs
* Experience working with Recharge or similar subscription platforms
* Experience working in a business where subscriptions represent a significant share of revenue
* Strong understanding of subscription metrics (LTV, churn, cohort retention)
* Experience working with Shopify ecommerce ecosystems
* Strong analytical skills (Excel, Google Sheets, Looker or similar tools)
* Ability to translate data into actionable growth initiatives
* Advanced English (C1+)
Nice to Have
* Experience in health supplements, wellness, or other consumable products
* Experience working in high-growth DTC ecommerce companies
* Experience running experiments to improve subscription conversion or retention
