This role is essential in strengthening our market position, expanding our customer base, and driving revenue growth in one of our key strategic regions.

You Will Be Responsible For
\n
Spend approximately 80% of your time visiting customers in the region.
\n
Maintain and strengthen the existing customer portfolio.
\n
Identify, approach, and onboard new customers to increase regional revenue.
\n
Develop, implement, and execute commercial strategies aligned with market needs.
\n
Represent DFDS and promote our logistics services to key industry stakeholders.
\n
Provide weekly reports to the Freight Sales General Manager.
\n
About You
\n
Education
\n
Relevant degree in Business, Logistics, Maritime Transport, or another related field
\n
Professional Experience
\n
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in freight sales and logistics.
\n
Solid background in B2B commercial roles.
\n
Ideally, experience in Ro-Pax/Ro-Ro operations or maritime logistics.
\n
Strong understanding of Ro-Ro and Ro-Pax shipping, sales techniques, and the freight market in North-west Spain & Portugal.
\n
Familiarity with short sea shipping and regional logistics flows.
\n
Competencies & Skills
\n
Deep knowledge of Ro-Pax and Ro-Ro operations (trailers, MAFIs, industrial/special vehicles).
\n
Ability to analyze rolling cargo markets, logistics flows, and business optimization opportunities.
\n
Strong network among logistics operators, freight forwarders, and transport companies.
\n
Consultative sales skills and experience negotiating complex commercial agreements.
\n
Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
\n
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
\n
Languages.
\n
Spanish, Portuguese, and English (required).
\n
