About the Role
At W Executive, we are seeking a Senior Relationship Manager on behalf of a strategic client expanding its presence in the Valencia area and across the Mediterranean region.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the Trade Finance business in the Valencia area.
* Acquire and manage a portfolio of corporate clients, both importers and exporters, with a particular focus on mid-sized and large companies.
* Act as the main point of contact between the bank and key decision-makers (CFOs, Treasurers, and Finance Directors).
* Identify business opportunities and structure documentary credit and international guarantee solutions.
* Drive cross-selling initiatives with complementary products (FX, cash management, short-term financing).
* Coordinate internally with Risk, Legal, Operations, and Compliance teams to ensure the proper execution of transactions.
* Represent the bank at business events, chambers of commerce, and international trade forums.
* Contribute to building the bank's brand and strengthening its market positioning across the region.
* Ensure compliance with internal regulations, risk policies, and anti–money laundering standards.
Requirements
* University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate or commercial banking, with a strong focus on Trade Finance.
* Proven track record in business development and corporate client management.
* In-depth knowledge of the business landscape across the Mediterranean corridor (Valencian Community, Murcia, and Eastern Andalusia) will be highly valued.
