PbAbout this opportunity /b /ppbr/ppSenior professional responsible for advising a client on health safety issues relating to a large construction projects, from project initiation to completion. /ppbr/ppKindly provide your CV in English. /ppbr/ppbResponsibilities include but are not limited to: /b /pulliSupporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives. /liliPositively engaging with Customers and developing, growing and maintaining Customer relationships. /liliDelivering high-quality services and ensuring that project management and/or programme management deliverables meet Customers’ requirements and business procedures. /liliMonitoring and working with the principal contractor appointed to complete the project; /liliAttending regular meetings with the principal contractor; /liliProviding support and assistance to the principal contractor and contractors on site; /liliPositively engaging with our client and developing, growing and maintaining our relationship; /liliDelivering a high quality service which ensures that services meet our client’s requirement; /liliManaging the client’s health safety obligations on the project to deliver a high quality service; /liliAdvising and assisting the client with their duties under the construction related health and safety standards, regulations and legislations; /liliAssisting with the coordination of health and safety aspects of design work; /liliCooperating with others involved with the project; /liliFacilitating good communication between the client, designers and contractors; /liliLiaising with the principal contractor regarding ongoing design work; /liliProducing and presenting regular reports to our main client – this will involve prompt flash reports of major issues as well as comprehensive weekly and monthly reports detailing all aspects of health and safety management on site; /liliMentoring and coaching employees so that they realise their full potential; /liliPreparing bids for services; /liliAdvising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or will arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance; /li /ulpbr/ppAs a Gleeds team member, you will have access to: /pulliOpportunities to develop and grow your career /liliEmployee Assistance Programme /li /ulpbr/ppWho we’re looking for: /ppbExperience, Knowledge And Key Skills /b /pulli10+ years of construction-related health and safety management experience. /liliExperience in industrial, energy or data centre construction projects with a similar job function. /liliExperience in delivering services on a live construction site in Spain. /liliSound knowledge of construction-related health and safety regulations and standards, as well as international best practices. /liliCohesive knowledge of construction methods. /liliThorough understanding of national health and safety legislation relating to construction. /liliExcellent communication skills – both oral and written. /liliCompetent ICT skills, with a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. /liliAbility to work as part of a team and lead teams. /liliProficiency in English and Spanish. /liliEligible to work in Spain. /liliNational mobility - available to work in various regions. /li /ulpbr/ppbA world of opportunity /b /ppGleeds is a place to be part of something bigger.
