Role Overview
12‑month fixed‑term maternity cover (20 April – 31 December 2026). The Delivery Partner Manager (DPM) is an equal‑parts advisor and operating partner to Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) in Spain. Amazon Logistics (AMZL) partners with third‑party distribution businesses to deliver last‑mile packages. The DPM helps DSP owners build and grow successful delivery businesses, kick‑starting new operations and ensuring they meet Amazon’s performance, compliance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Safety: Partner with OTR Safety and OTR Regional Managers to ensure business safety compliance.
* Performance: Guide owners as they scale operations, manage operational issues, and provide resources for ramp‑up and peak periods.
* Onboarding: Support owners on a net‑new launch, ensuring they are prepared to enter the program.
* Coaching: Coach DSP owners to run compliant, safe and high‑performing companies.
* Process Improvement: Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement operational improvements at the network level.
* Develop and maintain the relationship between Amazon and DSP partners, improving DSP sentiment.
* Align communication with DSP owners, coordinating closely with OTR partners.
* Represent DSP interests within AMZL and advocate for partner needs.
* Coach and upskill partners on tools and best practices.
* Analyze customer metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Improve driver standards to protect brand image.
A Day in the Life
You’ll manage all elements of partner relationships, from contract negotiation to ongoing performance monitoring. Daily communication with partners ensures they have the resources they need for timely deliveries.
About the Team
Amazon Logistics (AMZL) focuses on last‑mile delivery, leveraging continuous improvement to serve customers. The European Delivery Partner team works daily with external business owners who deliver packages on Amazon’s behalf.
Qualifications
* Spanish – fluent (daily language with partners).
* Bachelor’s degree.
* Prior professional experience in operations, last‑mile delivery, account or relationship management, logistics, transportation, supply chain or distribution.
* Experience managing resources on a regional or national scale.
* Experience coordinating a contingent workforce during peak seasons.
* Strong analytical skills with a track record of data‑driven problem solving.
* Experience leading process improvements through Lean, Kaizen or Six Sigma.
* Project planning experience in ambiguous environments.
* Excellent communication skills (public speaking and writing).
* Proven ability to help teams achieve goals.
