We are seeking a hands-on Payroll Team Lead for our new Fagron Shared Service Center in Barcelona to oversee payroll operations for EMEA. You will report directly to the HR Manager EMEA. As a Payroll Specialist, you will process payroll for several countries in the EMEA region, including running payroll reports, coordinating with external vendors, preparing journals, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. Build an effective and efficient team of payroll professionals in our Shared Service CenterCoach the team to develop their capabilities, skills, and knowledgeEstablish process models with supporting documentation for services in scopeLead the migration of payroll activities from local entities in the EMEA region to our Shared Service Center in Barcelona within 2 yearsParticipate in hiring and onboarding new colleagues with structured programs and processesSupport implementation and standardization of payroll processes across countries, seeking improvements and optimizationsPrepare relevant monthly, quarterly, and year-end reportsMaintain payroll information and records in compliance with statutory requirementsBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersResolve day-to-day issues related to customers, third parties, internal teams, and systems as neededYour Profile
Bachelor's degree in a related field;
Master’s degree is a plusExcellent communication skills in English;
additional languages are a plus5 to 7+ years of experience in a similar roleExperience working in a Shared Service Center within a large multinational corporationCustomer-oriented with a positive, collaborative attitudePassionate about leading teams and individualsProactive in identifying improvement areas and finding creative solutionsAbility to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlinesStrong analytical skills and understanding of payroll data and systemsWhat's on offer?
