This is a fully remote opportunity for one of our esteemed clients.
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to oversee the implementation and management of DevOps practices and tools within our GDP Azure environment. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of DevOps principles and Azure technologies. Operating at a global level, the role will involve coordinating Product development teams using the Azure platform.
DevOps Strategy Development : Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and refine the organization's DevOps strategy, defining goals, objectives, and success metrics. Assess the current state of DevOps practices and identify areas for improvement.
Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) : Design, implement, and manage CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services or Azure DevOps Server. Define build and release processes, automate testing, and deploy applications to Azure environments.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Automate infrastructure using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Azure DevTest Labs. Define infrastructure configurations as code for automated provisioning and management of Azure resources.
Monitoring and Logging : Utilize Azure monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Azure Application Insights. Set up monitoring solutions to track the performance, availability, and health of Azure resources and applications.
Implement security best practices for Azure environments, including IAM, network security, encryption, and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC. Ensure that DevOps processes and infrastructure are designed and implemented with security in mind (DevSecOps).
Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automating tasks and managing Azure resources programmatically. Write scripts to automate deployment, configuration, and maintenance tasks.
Proven experience and strong proficiency as an Azure DevOps lead in a multi-products multinational environment.
Familiarity with Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Container Instances, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure services used in DevOps workflows.
Certification in Azure DevOps or related technologies.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Terraform (4 - 6 yrs)
Azure, Azure DevOps or Github action, Datadog or Grafana, Terraform, Kubernetes and Bash scripting.
You'll be required to travel to the Madrid office at least twice a year. Estimated Duration : 12-month-term contractor position (Renewable)
