The role is based in Asturias and follows a hybrid model : 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home. You’ll be part of a Finance Business Team that works hand-in-hand with Operations, combining analytical rigor with business partnership to drive performance and transparency across our manufacturing footprint. This role offers a unique opportunity to deepen your expertise in manufacturing, product costing, and financial analytics. As a Plant Cost Analyst, you will act as a strategic partner to plant managers in your assigned region, delivering clear insights into operational performance and identifying opportunities for improvement and productivity. You’ll continuously seek ways to enhance and evolve our internal analytical tools, while fostering financial awareness across the organization and ensuring transparency on key financial indicators and targets.
This position reports into the Regional Plant Cost Analysis Organization, offering exposure to global best practices, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to contribute to strategic initiatives that shape the future of our operations.
Where You’ll Make a Difference Act as a financial business partner to the Plant Manager and local leadership, providing insights that support decision-making.
Suggest and identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with plant teams to implement them, while analyzing product cost trends, unit cost development, and productivity to help the plant achieve its performance targets.
Coordinate the yearly budget process on plant with focus on cost, capacity and explaining impact to final products throughout budget process.
Coordinate monthly forecasts for production cost variances, ensuring alignment with operational performance, the plant manager and local leadership.
Deliver clear and actionable KPI analysis to plant leadership, detailing plant performance and supporting continuous performance improvement.
Prepare detailed Monthly Plant Reporting using Global Tools in combination with plant specific analysis with plant organization.
Support the monthly Integrated Operations review, contributing to cross-functional alignment.
Participate and support the Global Plant Cost Analysis Organization in diverse projects, including process and digital tool enhancements.
Maintain strong internal controls and contribute to a culture of financial transparency and accountability.
What Makes You The Right Fit University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
Fluent in English and the local language will be a plus.
Strong systems proficiency (ERP/SAP, Business Warehouse, Microsoft Office).
Experience in standard costing environments (preferred).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong sense of control and business ethics.
Results-oriented, problem solver, customer-focused, and strategically agile.
How Would You Stand Out? Previous experience in financial analysis within manufacturing environments.
Previous experience analyzing and communicating financial data and KPIs to plant leadership, providing insights into operational performance and cost efficiency.
