Your OpportunityThe Category Buyer is a critical role in the indirect procurement organization and is involved in a number of core activities from supporting the setting of the overall category strategy and negotiation of key contracts to driving "SRM" with critical and key suppliers. Ensuring and maintaining good data analysis and reporting for your categories of responsibility is something that supports your success and development in the role and wider team. You will take the lead in finding and developing sub‐category suppliers and will need to regularly engage with and manage key stakeholders across the business. This is a chance to deliver ambitious value targets in the HR, FM and T&E categories and to grow your career in the global procurement organisation.
About YouYou have procurement experience in indirect procurement categories of 3+ years, and another category experience is seen as a plus. Knowing your way around SAP SRM is going to be of real value and your execution of procurement strategies whilst navigating internal and external partners is something you excel at!
Responsibilities
Develop an internal network to capture needs, prioritize projects and lead and/or support sourcing initiatives for the categories: Tech & Professional Services on a global basis.
Support S4 Transformation.
Support Global Category Manager on RFP building (e‐sourcing), data analysis, market analysis, spend analysis, and global vendor consolidation.
Work with different business stakeholders and suppliers.
Review, maintain, and strategically source from the list of Preferred Suppliers (PSL).
Negotiate local, regional and global agreements to support Bacardi's stakeholders.
Pull, maintain, upload contracts for their specific category, and maintain final document in Global database.
Support global Indirect Services Procurement Director and the Category Manager in contract lifecycle management process.
Identify and track savings opportunities in their category and input these in procurement savings tracker.
Review, approve and/or challenge Category Shopping Carts. Manage Supplier creation/ modification/ blocking process through MDG.
Skills
3+ years procurement and sourcing experience in indirect procurement categories (including e‐sourcing). Relevant experience in IT and IT Consulting and S4 is a plus.
Relevant education: University degree in Business and/or Finance and/or Engineering and/or related discipline.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English. Spanish as a second language is a real asset.
The ability to flawlessly execute in an environment with high volume and high complexity.
Knowledge of SAP SRM, BI (for spend analysis) and e‐sourcing platforms.
Excellent Excel skills and PowerPoint presentation.
Strong analytical skills required with emphasis in generating reports/presentations and ability to facilitate recommendations at all levels.
Ability to communicate effectively with remote stakeholder.
Basic Project Management experience.
