Role Purpose (Summary of position)
As GCS RIS Implementation Solution Manager you are accountable for the successful implementation of Roche’s digital products at the customer. In early product life cycle phases you will own the implementation end-to-end and in a scale-phase you will support the affiliates in their execution.
Responsibilities
* Execute implementation in early product life cycle phases end-to-end.
* Act as subject matter expert for RIS product installation and integration, working closely with Engineering in the early life cycle phases.
* Assess and optimise customer workflow together with country representative.
* Support customer / country on installation requirements.
* Support customer / country on installation and upgrade planning.
* Support installation of IT solution, instruments and hosts connection and verify connectivity together with local or regional representatives.
* Support configuration and testing.
* Support country to provide trainings to customers and first-level support.
* Act as subject matter expert for local support (lab process and IT solution).
Your profile
* Bachelors or master degree in a relevant field of study (IT, Lab Technician, etc.)
* 5+ years of relevant work experience in IT, Lab Organization (Medical Lab Technician, Lab Manager) or Hospital, IT Networks, Interfaces and/or Database, or an equivalent mix of relevant education and work experience.
* Previous experience working with the navify lab ops (aka cobas Infinity) is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills and proficiency in verbal and written English.
* Explicit problem solving attitude and experience working in a customer-oriented, interdisciplinary environment.
* Willingness to travel (up to 80%) nationally, but also worldwide.
* Independent, proactive and versatile working approach, but also able to act as a team player in a global team.
* Experience in networking, TCP/IP, firewall configurations.
* Cloud and Edge computing experience.
* Software development experience in similar products.
Locations
You will be based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Spain. At the Company's discretion, an exception to the location requirement could be made under extraordinary circumstances.
As this position is a global role, international business travel will be required depending upon the business location of the successful candidate and ongoing business project activities.
