🔍 About the role
We are looking for a Regional Marketing and BD Manager/Director to support our growth ambition in the region; concretely to drive the development of Latin America (Chile, Brazil, and other countries soon) and Southern Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece) by identifying new market opportunities and working closely with local teams in each affiliate.
This high-impact role will lead and energize the network of local marketing teams, guiding them toward a high-performance, sales-driven, and insight-led approach. This person will shape a cohesive regional strategy that amplifies local initiatives, fosters cross-country collaboration, and ensures alignment with global priorities.
The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to accelerate growth, support country-specific initiatives, and elevate regional marketing impact.
🎯 Key responsibilities
â–Ş Define and drive regional brand strategies in line with global guidelines, working closely with local teams to ensure strong positioning and business impact.
â–Ş Analyze market potential, growth drivers, and competition to inform strategic priorities and guide local activation.
â–Ş Oversee brand plan execution across countries, ensuring consistency, operational excellence, and adaptation to local realities.
â–Ş Monitor performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet objectives and recommend adjustments as needed.
â–Ş Co-create impactful marketing and promotional campaigns with sales and medical teams, aligned with business goals.
â–Ş Provide functional leadership to local marketing teams: support goal setting, performance tracking, and talent development in close coordination with GMs and Country Marketing Managers.
â–Ş Build strong relationships with key customers and KOLs; represent the region at strategic events and identify growth opportunities.
â–Ş Lead cross-country projects such as building a regional KOL network, scaling best practices, and developing shared tools and capabilities.
â–Ş Promote collaboration and alignment across countries, fostering a unified, innovative marketing community.
â–Ş Act as the regional link between global and local teams, ensuring two-way communication and pragmatic adaptation of global initiatives.
â–Ş Drive expansion into new markets by identifying opportunities, defining go-to-market strategies, and supporting launch execution.
Profile & Qualifications
Education & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business; MBA or Master’s is a plus.
* Fluent in English and Spanish. Knowledge of Italian, Portuguese, and French is a plus.
* 8+ years of experience in Marketing, preferably in the healtchare industry. Additional experience in Sales / Business Development will be highly valued.
* Knowledge of the primary care and hospital environment highly preferable
* Hands-on experience with leading transformation projects
* Proven track record in international and matrix environments, with successful collaboration across cultures and markets.
