Job Summary: Robert Walters seeks a seasoned AWS Support Engineer to join their team. Assume responsibility for managing and resolving complex AWS-related issues. Collaborate with the General Support Manager and in-country AWS teams to improve support processes. Stay up-to-date with latest AWS technologies and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team. Key Responsibilities: Oversee incoming AWS-related support issues from Level 1 and Level 2 agents. Act as senior technical authority to resolve internal complex issues, minimizing escalations to AWS support. Step in to troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues across AWS services. Design and implement support workflows and preventive measures to reduce recurring issues. Enhance team knowledge through training sessions, documentation, and active knowledge sharing. Requirements and Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years in technical support, service-desk or customer-facing IT roles. 2+ years hand-on experience supporting AWS Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of AWS services and architecture. Experience with cloud computing and infrastructure. Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving complex technical issues. Required Certifications: AWS certifications such as Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer are required.
