Job Description BESS Delivery & Service Manager / Engineer – C&I ProjectsPosition Overview TheBESS Delivery & Service Manager / Engineer (C&I)is responsible for the successful delivery, commissioning, and lifecycle support ofCommercial & Industrial Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projectsafter the project is secured by the sales and presales teams. This role takes full ownership of the project fromcontract handover through installation, commissioning, and after-sales service, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and according to technical specifications.Key Responsibilities 1. Project Handover & Planning Take over BESS projects from thesales and presales teamsafter contract signing. Review technical proposals, system configurations, and commercial scope. Develop project execution plans including timelines, resource planning, and site coordination. Confirm system design and project requirements with internal teams and customers. 2. Project Delivery & Implementation Manage theend-to-end delivery of C&I BESS projects. Coordinate with EPC partners, installers, and subcontractors for system installation. Ensure project milestones are achieved according to schedule and budget. Monitor site work and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Manage equipment logistics, delivery, and installation activities. 3. Commissioning & System Integration Lead or supportBESS commissioning activities, including: System functional testing EMS / PCS / BMS integration Grid connection and verification Work with engineering teams to resolve technical issues during commissioning. Ensure the system operates according to performance specifications. 4. Customer Support & After-Sales Service Providetechnical support and service coordinationafter project commissioning. Manage maintenance schedules and service activities. Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with OEMs or suppliers if needed. Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. 5. Documentation & Reporting Prepare project documentation including: Commissioning reports As-built documentation Operation and maintenance manuals Track project progress and provide regular internal updates.Qualifications Degree inElectrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field. 3–7 years of experiencein renewable energy, BESS, solar + storage, or power systems. Experience inC&I energy storage or distributed energy projectspreferred. Understanding of BESS components including: Battery systems PCS / inverters EMS / monitoring systems Experience inproject delivery or field engineering.Skills Strong project coordination and communication skills Problem-solving and troubleshooting capability Familiarity with renewable energy systems Ability to work with customers, EPCs, and suppliers Willingness to travel to project sites when required
