Ploid AI Biotech is a startup accelerating scientific R&D. We're building an agentic AI platform that unifies multi-omics data, turning analyses that take days into results delivered in hours.

Our technology is already driving genetic improvement in crops and accelerating research in leading biotech laboratories. We've closed our pre-seed round and secured the NEOTEC grant.

Role description:
We're looking for a Sales Representative to drive Ploid's growth in the life science market. Working alongside our GTM Strategist, your focus will be on execution: finding our early adopters, building relationships, and closing deals. You'll have direct exposure to the founders and technical team, seeing first-hand how a funded, fast-moving startup operates. Responsibilities:
Own the full sales cycle: from prospecting and lead generation to deal closure
Identify and engage early adopters in the life science sector (agtech, biotech, research labs)
Build and nurture relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
Analyze market trends and identify strategic business opportunities
Prepare tailored commercial proposals and negotiate deals
Collaborate with product and science teams to co-design customized solutions
Manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales in the life science sector
Proven track record in full-cycle B2B tech sales
Strong skills in lead generation, partnership building, and market analysis
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Experience with CRM and sales tools
Fluent Spanish and English (C1+)
Degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field
