We are seeking a skilled and motivated Product Software Engineering, Developer Enablement Manager to join our dynamic team.
About the role:
You are responsible for leading the unified vision and strategy for all the main technological disciplines that support our product software engineers: CI/CD, UX/UI, Architecture, QE, DevOps, Security, AI, Tech Debt management, etc.
You will manage both expert Managers and Individual Contributors and your work will impact all developers in our technology organization, making them more efficient, productive, and happy.
As a leader, you will need to provide a clear vision and strategy; and you will report to the Country CTO and be a member of this Leadership team. You will manage expectations and you will influence in your technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, you will create relationships with your European colleagues to ensure that best-in-class engineering practices are applied in Spain.
Responsibilities:
- Create a comprehensive and feasible Developer Enablement strategy.
- Foster a Developer Enablement culture throughout all DXG Spain, creating a centralized expert capacity to empower all the different product development teams, not by assuming their work, but by making them more efficient in the different specialized disciplines, and supporting them with expert knowledge.
- Be part of Spain's CTO Leadership Team.
- Lead and manage a sizable team of software engineers and managers, fostering a positive and high-performing work culture.
- Provide expert guidance in solving complex technical challenges and making critical project decisions.
- Communicate effectively in a matrixed organization with senior management, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Foster the growth and development of software engineering teams, providing mentoring and coaching to team members.
- Oversee the adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development process.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with other teams and functions to facilitate seamless integration and successful product launches.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members, providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
- Plan and schedule work within the team, ensuring efficient resource utilization and meeting project timelines.
- Monitor development processes, framework adoption, and project progress to ensure efficiency and compliance with standards.
- Estimate project resources and allocate them effectively to meet project demands.
