Field Application and Business Development Engineer (FAE/BDM) Location: AT/SK/CZ/RO

At Anritsu, we’re looking for a passionate Field Application and Business Development Engineer (FAE/BDM) to be the technical expert of our RF & Microwave portfolio, covering Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and DACH Area (mainly Austria and Switzerland).
What You’ll Do
FAE/BDMs are at the forefront of technical engagements, working closely with Customers, Sales Teams, and Sales Partners to showcase Anritsu’s cutting‑edge solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing pre‑sales and post‑sales technical engagement, including product demonstrations, evaluations, and trainings.
- Solving complex technical challenges, optimizing product configurations, and managing on‑site or remote inquiries.
- Building trust, long‑term relationships with Customers, Sales Partners, and internal Teams.
- Bringing the voice of the Market to our Product Divisions in US and Japan, to shape roadmaps and solutions.
- Representing Anritsu at exhibitions, conferences, and through articles, white papers, and presentations.
Your Profile
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated professional with:
- Degree in Electronics or RF & Microwave Engineering
- Must have strong expertise in RF & Microwave test and measurement applications, with hands‑on experience especially using benchtop Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), Signal Analyzers, and Signal Generators.
- 5+ years of experience in R&D; labs, production testing, or similar fields.
- Experience working with distribution channels and partners is a strong plus.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; fluency in German is a strong advantage
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills with right amount of assertiveness.
- A customer‑focused mindset with the ability to build rapport and deliver tailored solutions.
- Willingness to travel ~50% in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and DACH Area (mainly Austria and Switzerland).
