Satellite manufacturer company looking for a talented Junior Mechanical Engineer to work in our satellite mechanical subsystem & payload contributing to the mechanical design, analysis, specification, testing and validation.The successful candidate will be innovative, creative, and challenge the status quo. He or she will work well in teams while also having to work assignments autonomously.Barcelona based.

The Junior Mechanical Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
3. Mechanical design and modelling of mechanical subsystems and payload. Preparation of preliminary design with layouts, sketches, testing requirements, materials, processes, and tools, define mechanical interfaces with other mechanical subsystems.
4. Develop and maintain mechanical design documentation, manufacturing drawings, interface control drawings, test procedures and tooling (vibration, shock, TVAC, assembly)
5. Technical Support to AIT activities including fabrication, assembly, integration, and tests.
6. Responsible for the design and capability of the system design to meet the technical requirements.
7. Support in structural and thermal decisions and engineering trade-offs to find the best conceptual architectures and design.
¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?
The Junior Mechanical Engineer must have:
8. At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design. Mechanical space subsystems and payload and/or other equivalent applications is a plus.
9. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field. Higher degree is preferred.
10. Demonstrated experience using CAD software. (Inventor is preferred).
11. Experience using PDM and PLM software is a plus
12. Knowledge in GDIT is a plus.
13. Technical skills in FEM computer methods using standard analytical tools and classical structural analysis methods is a plus.
14. Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with other engineers.
15. Flexibility/adaptability in a fast-paced & dynamic environment.
16. Fluent English written and verbal communication skills.
