Telefèric Barcelona is an authentic Spanish restaurant group in the United States, offering a vibrant and immersive dining experience inspired by Spain’s rich culinary and cultural traditions.
We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Bar Manager to lead bar operations at our Palo Alto or Los Gatos location. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for beverage programs, and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all bar operations, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and consistency.
* Lead, train, and supervise bartenders and bar staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.
* Monitor daily bar activities, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to maintain optimal stock levels and control costs.
* Analyze beverage costs, pricing strategies, and sales performance to maximize profitability.
* Ensure excellent guest experience by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and resolving complaints professionally.
* Collaborate with restaurant management on events, promotions, and special functions.
* Control labor costs through effective scheduling and staff planning.
* Maintain compliance with company policies, licensing laws, and sanitation standards.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar leadership role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
* Extensive knowledge of spirits & cocktails
* Strong leadership and team development skills.
* Experience with inventory management, cost control, and budgeting.
* Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with POS systems and bar operations software.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Experience in Spanish or Mediterranean concepts is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
* From $64,000 – $78,000 annually, based on experience
