The Role
As an Account Director, you will be responsible for managing the ITS relationship with key assigned clients. Working with fellow IQVIA colleagues, you will both support the broader IQVIA offer and represent IQVIA Translation Services (ITS) independently. The role is key to driving ITS revenue streams by presenting innovative, effective and compelling solutions to our client’s language challenges. The primary goals are to win new clients, retain and expand existing clients by presenting industry-leading language solutions and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You should look to identify new profitable revenue opportunities in assigned accounts and in consultation with IQVIA account teams to deliver enterprise-level programmes that both add to the overall IQVIA reputation and position ITS as the client’s chosen strategic language vendor.
Your Responsibilities will include:
1. Ensure the quarterly and full year revenue targets are met by managing the activities of assigned accounts to achieve or exceed the assigned revenue and growth goals.
2. Co-ordinate sales & service lines at a regional and country level for the assigned accounts to ensure a shared vision and client engagement strategy across the region and effective execution against client needs and IQVIA Translation Services revenue targets.
3. Gain intimate knowledge of the client and challenge with innovative ideas to develop and close opportunities, providing end-to-end solutions, and growing the size/duration/value of sales over time.
4. Develop a good understanding of the breadth of IQVIA and IQVIA Translation Services capabilities to maximize ability to grow accounts.
5. Collaborate with IQVIA colleagues across the organization to ensure they are engaged and aligned to the account strategy and support new business opportunities within clients. Work closely with colleagues to pull together successful, complex solutions for clients.
6. Manage the overall relationship to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
1. Minimum of 7 - 10 years of prior relevant experience.
2. Minimum 7 years’ experience in a client-facing role.
3. Deep knowledge of language services including latest trends.
4. Outstanding written/verbal communication skills.
5. Highly numerate.
6. Outstanding presentation skills both to individuals and groups.
7. Fluency in English is essential; an additional language would be a strong asset.
8. Good personal and negotiation skills.
9. Ability to meet strict deadlines; manage competing priorities and changing demands.
10. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
11. First-class organisational skills.
12. A high level of business awareness.
