The Role
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Manager to oversee, manage, and coordinate all mobile development initiatives. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management responsibilities, focusing primarily on applications used by aircrew members for in-flight retail sales.
What your day-to-day will look like
* Lead and manage a diverse team of in-house engineers and contractors
* Oversee the development and maintenance of our mobile applications portfolio
* Provide hands-on technical leadership and contribute to development
* Manage application architecture and technical decision-making
* Oversee certificate management, particularly in iOS environments
* Coordinate integration of third-party hardware and libraries
* Drive technical excellence and best practices in mobile development
Requirements: Technically
* Proven experience in mobile engineering leadership roles
* Strong hands-on experience with native mobile development (Android and/or iOS)
* Deep understanding of mobile application architecture principles
* Extensive knowledge of deployment strategies for both Android and iOS platforms
* Experience with iOS certificate management and provisioning
* Experience integrating external hardware (e.g., Bluetooth devices, payment systems, IoT devices, etc.) is a plus
* Strong people management and team leadership skills
* Experience working with third-party libraries and SDK integrations
* Experience with React Native development is a plus
* Background in payments, aviation, and/or travel industry applications is a plus
