About the Role:
As an E-Commerce Assistant, you will report directly to the E-Commerce Manager and play a key role in ensuring the day-to-day operations of our online stores run seamlessly. Your responsibilities will include creating and optimizing product listings, maintaining an organized and visually appealing website, and supporting various operational tasks to enhance the customer shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Product Management:
o Create and manage product listings with accurate descriptions, high-quality images, and proper tagging.
o Continuously optimize product pages for better user experience and search visibility.
o Manage product collections and ensure logical categorization for easy navigation.
2. Website Merchandising:
o Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging website layout.
o Assist in implementing upselling and cross-selling strategies.
o Regularly audit the website for correct product placement and promotion.
3. Operational Support:
o Collaborate with internal teams to gather product information (descriptions, specifications, imagery).
o Troubleshoot and resolve website issues by coordinating with developers or platform support.
o Monitor website analytics to identify areas for improvement.
4. Customer Engagement:
o Assist in executing promotional campaigns, email marketing, and loyalty programs.
Qualifications:
* Languages:
High proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
* Experience:
Experience with Shopify is highly preferred;
1-2 years in e-commerce, digital marketing, or related fields is a plus.
Required Skills:
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
* Strong written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
* Basic understanding of web metrics and analytics.
* Familiarity with tools like Adobe Photoshop (basic level) and Microsoft Office.
* Basic HTML skills are a bonus but not required.
Preferred Skills:
* Self-starter with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Effective team collaborator across departments.
* Interest in e-commerce and online retail.
