Position Overview
We are now looking for a Sales Support Engineer to join our Global UWS Sales team. The position is permanent, and the preferred location is in Alboraya, Spain.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate customer-specific solutions, specifications, and quotations according to sales needs for Wärtsilä Underwater Services.
* Manage bids and evaluate inquiries, maintaining opportunity information in CRM.
* Configure solutions based on defined needs and prepare cost calculations.
* Assess technical and environmental risks of solutions.
* Ensure timely responses to sales inquiries, requests, and orders.
* Understand customer needs and support them in achieving their objectives.
Candidate Profile
* Safety-first mindset.
* Technical education or equivalent experience.
* Experience in customer-facing roles involving cost and invoice management.
* Excellent organizational skills and customer empathy.
* Strong teamwork and adaptability skills.
* Knowledge of commercial administration processes.
* Passion for Underwater Services and willingness to advance the business.
* Experience in the Maritime Industry and ability to work in multicultural environments.
* Self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning.
* Openness to change and proficient negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM.
* Fluent in Spanish and English.
* Willing to relocate within driving distance of Valencia, Spain, and possess a valid European work permit.
