We are seeking a talented and passionate 2D Artist to join our creative team in a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic vision, an eye for detail, and a deep understanding of visual storytelling.
What You Will Do
* Create high-quality 2D artwork that enhances the visual appeal and overall player experience.
* Design and refine game assets, ensuring they align with the game's artistic style, tone, and vision.
* Collaborate closely with the Art Director, fellow artists, and cross‐functional teams to maintain a cohesive and immersive visual style across projects.
* Utilize available tools to integrate final artwork into the project efficiently and effectively.
What We're Looking For
* Experience as a 2D Artist in the video game industry or a related creative field.
* A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality 2D artwork, including concept art, character design, and environment art, with a focus on stylized aesthetics.
* Proficiency in industry‐standard digital art tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or Procreate.
* A solid understanding of composition, color theory, lighting, and visual storytelling to create compelling game visuals.
* Adaptability to different artistic styles and project requirements, demonstrating flexibility in execution.
* Familiarity with UI/UX design principles for game interfaces.
* Understanding of 2D work within a 3D production pipeline.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a team‐oriented mindset.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast‐paced, deadline‐driven environment while maintaining artistic integrity and quality.
Bonus Points
* Experience working within an Agile development environment.
* Familiarity with game engines such as Unity for asset implementation.
* Mobile game development experience, with an understanding of platform‐specific art requirements.
