Position Purpose
The Ass Food & Beverage Director supports the F&B Director in leading the overall operations of the hotel's food and beverage department, ensuring excellence in guest experience, operational efficiency, and adherence to brand standards. This role requires a strong operational mindset, leadership presence, and a continuous focus on service quality, profitability, and team development. Direct report to the F&B Director.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Guest Experience
Ensure the highest standards of service and hospitality across all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, banquets, room service, and minibar.
Conduct daily departmental tours and inspections to guarantee cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor guest satisfaction indexes, revenue goals, costs, and quality indicators, taking corrective action when necessary.
Ensure that all operations align with hotel standards and brand philosophy.
Support and participate in internal and external audits to achieve quality objectives and continuous improvement.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, motivate, and continuously train the F&B team in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance evaluations, and developmental conversations.
Support the F&B Director in recruitment, onboarding, and staff retention initiatives.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven work environment.
Financial & Administrative Management
Collaborate with the F&B Director on budgeting, forecasting, and revenue planning.
Analyze financial performance, cost control, and operational metrics to optimize profitability.
Oversee purchasing and inventory control processes, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
Participate actively in monthly inventories and reporting.
Events, Promotions & Coordination
Assist the Banquet team in the planning and execution of events and banquets.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of events and guest experiences.
Proactively seek opportunities to drive revenue and enhance the hotel's F&B reputation.
Quality & Brand Standards
Ensure daily operational excellence in accordance with brand and hotel service standards.
Maintain constant alignment with company policies, sustainability initiatives, and hygiene standards.
Uphold a professional and polished appearance consistent with brand expectations.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or certification in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within F&B operations in a 5-star or luxury hotel (MICE experience desirable).
Proven record in planning and executing high-level events and banquets.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish (German is a plus).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Micros and Opera is desirable.
Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on maximizing revenue opportunities.
