The Europe & SAM Senior Medium Voltage Electrical Engineer (SMVEE) role involves:
1. Developing design proposals, specifications, product selection, drawings, and calculations to evaluate feasibility, costs, and maintenance requirements.
2. Providing design solutions that meet customer and site requirements while protecting the client's interests.
3. Participating in tendering, project programming, and solution development, including system diagrams, calculations, and equipment review.
4. Leading code analysis, detailed design, and validation of product selection.
5. Supporting construction phases through site visits, clarification, change management, and as-built documentation.
6. Traveling to customer sites for issue resolution and participating in safety meetings.
7. Maintaining professional knowledge through training, publications, and networking.
Qualifications include:
* 5+ years in MV Power Systems Design, Data Center design experience.
* Proficiency in ETAP or Caneco HT, MV/LV coordination, arc flash studies, and protective relays.
* Good command of English and Spanish, with strong communication skills.
* Knowledge of Schneider's Medium Voltage portfolio and Microsoft tools, REVIT, CAD.
