The Opportunity
TheFactory Engineering Manager(FEM) – Dairy leads site engineering operations to ensure maximum availability, reliability, and performance of manufacturing assets within Almarai’s Dairy plants. The role is accountable for defining and executing preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, providing engineering input to capital projects and new dairy line installations, ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and HSE standards, and maintaining tight control over engineering budgets and operating costs. The FEM works closely with Manufacturing, QA, Projects, and H&S; teams to support high‑volume dairy production and deliver operational excellence.As a senior site leader within the Dairy business unit, the FEM manages and develops a large, multi‑disciplinary multi‑national engineering workforce operating in a demanding 24/7 manufacturing environment. The role requires strong people leadership to align diverse cultures, skills, and shift patterns, drive accountability, build technical capability, and embed a strong safety and continuous improvement culture in line with Almarai values and Dairy business objectives.QualificationsDegree or Diploma (HND/HNC minimum) in Mechanical or Electrical or similar Engineering speciality10+ years’ experience in engineering management within dairy or liquid food manufacturingProven capability leading and developing large, multi‑national engineering teamsStrong expertise in preventive maintenance (PPM/TPM), asset reliability, and breakdown reductionHands‑on experience with dairy processing, utilities, and high‑speed packaging equipmentSolid exposure to engineering budget control, SAP PM, and cost managementStrong working knowledge of food safety, HSE, quality systems, risk assessment, and auditsWe offer competitive salary and benefits package for the right candidate.
