We are looking for a dynamic and experienced IT/OT Support Engineer to join a leading company in the logistics and industrial sector, responsible for maintaining and monitoring terminal IT health checks and supporting both IT and OT infrastructure.This is a 100% onsite role based in Barcelona, requiring a technically skilled professional who can work independently, handle incident and service management (L1 & L2), and contribute to the stability and security of critical systems.Key Responsibilities- Provide end-user support for hardware and software including Office applications, desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.- Maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to local IT infrastructure such as datacenter racks, cabling, servers, storage, and network equipment.- Support and maintain OT infrastructure assets, including CCTV, radio communications, biometric readers, OCR equipment, and vehicle-mounted terminals.- Manage service requests and incident tickets, ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs.- Participate in technical projects involving system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.- Contribute to the IT/OT knowledge base by documenting troubleshooting guides and solutions.- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem-solving activities.- Support and monitor datacenter operations, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices.- Collaborate closely with regional and global IT teams to deliver effective onsite IT/OT support.Technical Requirements- Degree in IT Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in IT/OT support roles.- Strong knowledge of VMware and/or Cisco networking technologies, beyond basic monitoring.- ITIL knowledge or certification is highly desirable.- Proven experience in incident management, routine IT service maintenance, and technical support.- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.- Fluency in both English and Spanish is mandatory.- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a critical onsite environment.Additional Information- The role is 100% onsite at the terminal facilities in Barcelona due to operational requirements.- The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in SD-WAN, data center infrastructure, and to work with global IT/OT teams.- Career progression paths include Project Management, Service Management, L3 Support, and Business Analysis roles.#J-18808-Ljbffr
